Root and install custome ROM on GALAXY Y

So im here starting with Samsung galaxy Y (also duble sim)
Let’s start with rooting again for galaxy Y !
(!!! all download links are at bottom !!!)

Steps tp root your android GALAXY Y :
1. Download the update.zip
2.Move that file to your SD Card (not in any folder).



2. Switch off your phone.

3. Boot into recovery mode(Press Vol Up + Power Key + Home button together at the same time to boot in recovery mode).

4. Touch screen is disabled in recovery. Use Volume keys(UP/DOWN) for scrolling and home button to select the highlighted option.

5. Select Apply update for sdcard

6. Select update.zip (which you have downloaded).

7. Wait for it to show complete and then select reboot system.

8. Your device will be successfully rooted.

9. After booting, go to play store and update superuser app

10. Thats it, your device is now rooted with the latest binaries

INSTALLING CUSTOM ROM - (JELLYBLAST V3)

make sure you have at least 30% of battery to perform this operation

1.Make Sure Your Device is Rooted and You have "USB Debugging" Enabled.

2.Download the JELLYBLAST V3 and Transfer it to your SD-Card.

3.Install "ROM MANAGER" from Play Store and Flash CWM on your Device by updating flash recovery and just switch off your phone.

4.Turn Off your Phone and Reboot in Recovery Mode by pressing these keys at a time : Volume UP Key+ OK button+Power button

now in recovery mode your touchscreen is disabled so to nevigate option you can use volume up and down buttons and to select an option use home key.

5.Wipe data and cache and Dalvik cache one by one by selecting options in recovery mode.

6.Now choose option "Install zip from SD card".

7.Pick out the Transferred File from sd card directory and Select "Yes".

8.Let it Complete its Process and Reboot your Device. It might Take Some time to Reboot for the First Time.

9.Please don't Remove Battery or Do any Stunts ;)

10.Go through the On-Screen Instructions and Done!!
